I've sometimes pondered how the average rural poor Chinese worker must perceive the U.S. as they crank out the endless stream of trinkets and junk they export here.

I don't see what's wrong with it. If you take pictures of an American production facility, it looks pretty much exactly the same; there are little work cells, with groups of people putting stuff together.

ETA: In fact, I just went to a bearing production facility on Monday and it looked pretty much the same. Women at work stations putting the rollers into the raceways.

Who suggested that there is anything wrong?

Nothing wrong with it. Its pure economics. Simply supply and demand. I'd rather it be them pumping out crappy toys we buy and us pumping out quality products they buy.

Sorry for the double post but If you view the entire gallery via the OPs link there's some more good photos. Also some of pieces of dolls the women are putting together that are a little creepy.

Agree not a big deal....everybody makes "stuff"

I dont care what `some` think about what the Chinese think.....

Walmart is just fine...people buy all sorts of things there because they still can....That includes ammo...bird-seed...aspirin...detergents..etc...at a good price.

Thank you very smart and hardworking Chinese people. I enjoy every counterfeit thing you manufacturer and I purchase from you. And might I say you put out some excellent affordable electronics. My new counterfeit Iphone 5s is the bomb. Apple hasn't even released it yet and I already have one.

I know right? Here's some more pictures of Chinese assembling cheap stuff for us fat lazy 'Merkans to dispose of when the "next big thing" comes out.

This picture is sort of vague, I wonder what Wal-Mart toy they are manufacturing there?

Here they are all lined up before they go to work on those cheap throw away items that fat facist homophobic racist white people use:

They're glad to have those jobs, that's why they line up to do them. Better than the alternative. Perhaps the next generation will be educated and have a better quality of life. Such are the things of developing economies.

Side Note: I'm glad they showed which one tie wraps the **** out of my kid's toys in the package. I have to use a set of dikes to cut them out sometimes.

Of course, you're only seeing the assembly operations. The actual injection and blow molding operation could have a bunch of Chinese slave laborers shoveling coal into the furnace to heat the dies,

What agenda are you pushing, exactly? So far in this thread, you're the only one who said anything about... well, anything of this nature.

Thought this was a thread about making toys?

If you are that obtuse, me telling what agenda is in this thread will be of no use to you. Considering the OP, his previous posts, and his stances on topics such as Wal-Mart it's almost punching you in the face.

But, hey don't believe your lying eyes or your gut feelings. IndianMatt is real curious about toy gun and Spongebob Squarepants manufacturing tolerances

Without delving into his posting history, about the only thing that could possibly be insinuated about this thread is maybe he has a thing about child labor. As obtuse as I apparently am, I don't see how that has anything to do with the "racist white homophobe white racist white racist racist white white white homophobe" type nonsense that you're injecting into the thread. I try to take threads at face value, even from questionable folks.

And this isn't the first time I've seen you go off on "white homophobic racist" type comments that have nothing to do with the original thread. Maybe you really are the "wrong kinda white".
