Lookin for a mag well for my g30 to help with my large hands gettin in the way of reloads. I've looked at a few, but none say 'for g30'. My question is will one from a 21 fit my 30?

Dont think its possible. This is why I didnt buy a g30. A hand should always fit fully on the frame but these small glocks your pinky rests on the mag and not the frame. Its really meant for ccw and not to be reloaded a bunch of times.

I shoot a 21sf for competition and a guy brought out his ccw g30 last week for me to shoot. It didnt do anything for me and its size only saved minimal printing that would not have made it worth the compromise between its big brother the 21sf. These were my thoughts holding the gun in the store and I confirmed them being able to actually shoot and holster the g30 last week.

My suggestion is to accept it for what it was meant for. Buy a 21sf for range use and situations that require multiple reloads on the move like competition.

The 30 is my edc and the way my hand is shaped, I have to turn the pistol up and left a bit to let a mag fall free. I carry a spare mag also and practice speed reloads very often, and have gotten proficient at them, but can not stay on target and make a reload.

How could anyone stay on target and reload at same time?

Sounds to me like you are doing everything correctly but need to accept the trade offs of a compact pistol. I don't like the trade offs and as I stand here on my iPad in a clients home have my 21sf OWB in a raven holster with no issues. To save a little muzzle and even less grip length but keep the same width wasn't worth it to me. See the vid below for my setup. I can wear a dress shirt and conceal fine. Perhaps sime people are concerned with printing more than I am but this works for me.

To get a mag to fall out of the pistol, I have to turn it to about 10 oclock and muzzle up quite a bit. The mag well would keep my fat/thick palms off the mag and allow it to fall.

Then there is no point to a g30. You would be back to the same grip length as a 21. Beyond that you wont be able to seat the mags if the mags run flush to the mag well so those would need to stick out the bottom even more.

You bought a gun that doesnt fit you well in trade for concealment. That is what the gun is for and like me you are struggling with accepting this. I love my 21sf and wont use a gun that doesnt fit me well or one that requires me to move my pinky out of the way in order to mag change.
