Glock DEMO

I just recently purchased a Glock23 Gen3 that has little if any signs of use. The box is labled DEMO. The LGS said that Glocks so marked were used as sales samples. Can anyone expand on this? Anybody else have one they purchased as a DEMO? thanks.

Could just be marked because it was used in the case and handled a lot, and so they would know which plastic box goes to the gun in a case.

Is my best guess.

Yea usually if its a demo they are used by a Dept. of some sales man and they usually have minimum rounds through them. Have bought a few and never had a problem. Shoot the crap out of it and just enjoy it!
