I've got one you can buy.
Now it says "Savage" on the side, and the semi-auto requires some intermittent attention, but I can assure you, it is the way it was designed. :D
But seriously, I'm interested as well.

Understood. I found this, http://www.gunsamerica.com/982641402/saiga_30.htm but am pretty leery of buying it, since I have had plenty of success buying offline from GA.

I've never had an issue in my limited use of sites like that. Damn good price (considering current prices) for a .308 with the wood furniture. Can't find a polymer one here for less than $650.

I know a guy who owns one. He likes the .308 round. He just didn't like the accuracy or mushy trigger.
I have no first hand experience with them. They would probably make a really neat hog gun.

Look into .308 VEPR's as well. They can be found for $500-$699 new.

Saiga 308, vs CETME, vs VEPR 308, how to they compare? Other than magazines are way cheaper for the CETMEs.
