with a 15+1 magazine frame vs. a G20SF with a 10+1 magazine frame. That is, is the vertical dimension the same or longer? I know there is decreased frame diameter of the G20SF vs. G20. Just wanted to know if it's a matter of a smaller capacity mag vs a smaller shorter frame?

Mag. well and mags. are the same. They decrease the open area in the back of the grip.
