Every time I grab a roll of electrical tape, I think of Chad. I've only bought the super 33+ since he introduced me to it..

I have shown my ass a number of times in this forum. For obvious reasons, Chad's threads were not where it happened.

As has been stated, you could tell the veracity of his posts.

You knew he was real.

His posts were real.

RIP..CJ

I enjoyed your cogent thoughts whenever you posted.

You could debate without degrading.

A rare trait.

R.I.P. C.J. Landry. I didn't know him personally, but he is one of few people who's names I recognize on this forum. Sad to hear this, he was my age.

What a damn shame! I hadn't heard much from CJ here the last year or so....the last threads I remember he and I being a part of were in the health and fitness forum. If I remember correctly he had gone Paleo, was lifting, had lost a bunch of weight and was feeling good! RIP brother!

Words, often when you stumble upon news of this type, are hard to come by. I've been pretty negligent to GT lately and the friends I've acquired here over the last 2 years. First time in a who knows how long, and this was near the top of GNG.

While I hadn't had the pleasure of hanging out with CJ in person, every interaction I had with him here on FB left me with a feeling of a level headed, fair and honest man. Godspeed Chad. I truly am saddened at the worlds loss of such a genuine guy, however at the same time we should feel blessed that we got his company for 46 years.

I've never met CJ, myself, but he's always seemed like the kind of guy that could get along with anyone, regardless of their opinions on things. He was hilarious, helpful, and incredibly friendly, and I've learned that just from his posts on some internet gun forum I stumbled upon when I turned 20. People like him are rare in a time where we are still dividing ourselves over every opinion we can have, and it's the world's loss when a guy like CJ passes away. I regret not making more of an effort to get to know him better. Hell, it's likely that we were related; all of us Cajuns are second and third cousins, anyway.

May he rest in peace. My heart goes out to his family.

This is sad news. May Chad Landry rest in peace. Glocktalk has lost good people this year.

Isn't CJ the one who taught a bunch of us how to enjoy a good shave with a safety razor, a Feather, Dorco or Merkur blade, a badger hair brush and Taylor of Old Bond Street avocado shaving cream?

I always enjoyed his posts. He left us too damn soon.
