I always enjoyed reading his posts, and had wondered what had happened to him as I had not seen him post for a while.

I just found out.
Dammmit, Chad.
I've been trying to get a hold of him for a while now... Last thing I sent him was 2 weeks after he was already gone, a message that just said, "how's life, buddy? I miss you."
Dammit.
Rest in peace, Cajunator. I just hope you know how many friends you had, all pulling for you and wishing we could help...

These posts mirror what I wouldve said. I remember when I first joined up he was always very kind, funny and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. RIP CJ Landry

This is terrible news! I never met Chad face-to-face, but he always had a good word to say and seemed like a good man. All my prayers to his famly in their time of grief.

I read this about an hour ago and realized it affected me more than I thought. I was doing the dishes thinking about posts he had made. Sured loved his guitars and his girls!

*sigh*
I had wished I could do more--be there more--for him. For me, like a lot of the rest of us here, Chad was a friend off of GT... Although like many of us, it had been a while since I had heard from him. I am thankful I was able to call him friend while he was with us.
I remember when I met him in person... As exhausted as he was when he walked into the room, he exuded a quiet strength. He'd be the first person to tell you that he wasn't perfect, but he was loving and good. Having his friendship and respect were points of pride for me. He was that kind of man.
I am mourning.
