RIP, I always enjoyed his posts. He was a real fixture on this site. I enjoyed reading his posts about his travels, etc.
Do we have a memorial thread/sticky for all the members that we have lost?

Wow! I liked this guy a lot! Sad and kinda scary... he was only a year older than I am...

Over the years CJ was one of my favorites on GT. Reading his posts became so familiar and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless him, and the daughters and family he loved so much.

Damn. CJ was a hell of a guy. I took advice from him on a few occasions and I respected him very much.
We truly lost one of the best.

RIP Chad, we never met in person but we shared some good laughs here. Semper Fidelis, I would be honored to relieve you of your post guarding the gates when I get there.

I've been ill a lot and haven't logged in for awhile. Seeing this sticky truly makes me sad. CJ was well liked here and had a lot of friends. He will be dearly missed.
Deepest condolences to his family.

First time in months I've logged in on GT, and this is what I see.
It always felt a little special when CJ checked in on one of my threads, like it was some sort of validation. It wasn't a frequent occurrence given my sporadic visits here the last couple of years, but I still remember them.
I hope his family, his kids especially, find peace with this.

Man, oh man that's bad news. CJ was at the very, very top of the list of people whose posts I enjoy at GT. He always seemed so reasonable and just plain right about things. I wish I had the opportunity to have met him in person. I'm just so impressed by him. He's in my thoughts and prayers.
R.I.P. Chad.

Damn, jsut found this.
I never met him in person, but conversed many times through PM. I'm sorry to see he is gone, but am glad he is no loner having to deal with the issues that crept up in the last couple of years. He didn't deserve any of that, from what I knew.
His family was fortunate to have had him when they did and, for them, I feel the most sorry. May they get what they need and come through this with fond memories.
