I've had to direct the burial of three family members so far, and ordered the removal of life support from two of them.
I've been beside for ailing family members, relatives and friends who died shortly after. When we talked, the only thing any of them ever wanted was for us to spend TIME with them.
A few years ago some of my retarded ass-hatted relatives told me they were going black Friday shopping, and asked me what I wanted, and told me they needed a ride.
I picked them up, and drove them to a 24hr (Greek) diner, we ordered food and drink, sat for 2hrs and reminisced about the bad old days. Then I took them to the mall and told them to get whatever they wanted for everyone else - that all I ever wanted from them as a gift was fellowship, companionship, time.
Today I have to work for a couple of hours. It will be treacherous avoiding the crushing hordes. Maybe later I will take the boys into town to redeem the HUNDREDS of empty water bottles agglutinating in the garage - but that's about it.
The only things we really need are bananas and maybe a couple loaves of bread.

Why are so many people so shortsighted and judgemental?
Few of you realize how good such things make your own lives. Other peoples materialism has provided YOU with most of the things you have, including your job and most of the modern conveniences you enjoy.
