1) When Okie says so,
2) when you decide you are no longer a newb,
3) you can distinguish the difference between 'Trolls' and the 'uninformed',
4) and the all important, knowing when to use - They're, their, there - to, two , too and you're and your properly in a sentence. Some form of punctuation helps as well.
I also think knowing when to post in the Lounge or General Glocking is a big help for the new folks.
Edit: If you are quoted in someone's signature line you have arrived!
Edit: Knowing how to use the 'edit' function.
