The gray boxed, brass cased 155gr .40 stuff. Supposed government contract overrun. I've heard rumor it's loaded to hotter specs than the standard HST 155gr'ers in the colorful box with nickel cases.

I had seen them for sale somewhere & the fps & ft lbs
were listed. I compared them to HST's on an ammo site
and the specs were the same. Just brass instead of nickel.

Those are loaded to the old INS spec of 1200 FPS. The original Remington 155 in the yellow box was 1250 FPS, that was the load responsible for the broken Beretta's (as they all should be).
I think the "white box" 180gr HSTs (also supposedly overrrun, or out of velocity spec) ran slightly faster than regular HSTs. Not much, maybe 10-30 fps IIRC. I shot 500 of 'em and they ran great.
