What is a pre-ban mag?
I am rather new to Glocks. I hear the term pre-ban mags. I was told by someone they are the older mags for gen 2 and early gen 3 Glocks with the U shape on top of the mag.
What do they usually sell for, in 9mm?

Maybe of interest to you.
The Clinton gun ban enacted September 13 th 1994 which sunset in 2004,no magazine manufactured after that date unless made for Law Enforcement or Military could hold more than ten rounds.
Seems as if that round count made people feel better,it didn't make me feel better or safer.
A bit of Clinton AWB.

I thought more in the lines that in MA for example Glock and magazines have this 1998 ban.
NY, NJ and DE have some other rules and dates as well.

You maybe correct, the current communist may try to one up Billy Bubber.
That and all the sheep moving to Vermont from the communist **** Holes they came from. They moved here because it was different, then the first thing they want the town to install sidewalks and street lights.
They can't wait to turn it into the same kind of **** Hole they crawled out of and there goes Vermont. SJ 40

I have inlaws in VT, so know what you mean. Somewhat similar to our OR/CA situation, but cali crowd is more focused on suburbanization than gentrification.
