Dot Torture drill
I don't know if you guys have seen this but I will post anyway. It looks and sounds pretty easy, but it will show your weaknesses pretty vividly. Here is a link that will explain. Then I will show you my first target, at the risk of much public ridicule. LOL.

Ok, here is my target from 5yds. shooting my Kahr CW9. Pretty interesting drill. I see that I need to practice on my weak hand. Also you will get tired by the end of the drill, the majority of my misses came on the last two drills. Trigger control is very important, these dots are only 2". Ok enough excuses. Please print some off and try it.

One of the drills I practice when at the range.

I don't do that drill but I do use that target. Put it at 7 yards and try to put one hole right in the center of each circle. It's great practice for the fundamentals and is especially good for affirming the exactly precise sight picture for the gun.

Easy? This drill is NOT easy!
Those dots are only 1", and remember if you miss one shot you FAIL. That is why it is "torture".
I fired this drill only one time and scored 35/50, mainly due to trying to go too quickly and dropping some of the support hand only shots. There is still room for me to improve.
Try the drill. It's fun and a good use of 50 rounds of ammo.

Actually they are 2" dots, but still not easy at all. But I agree its a good way to practice.

The Dot Torture Drill might look easy, but it is not.
Check out the site where you go to download the PDF. There are a lot of good drills listed on there.
