Holster makers
I know there used to be a few guys that made nice kydex holsters on this site. I can't remember who and a quick search of the classified turned up nothing. If any of you guys know, I would appreciate a name or two.
Thanks.

Alabama Holster had a lead time of 9 weeks when I ordered. I still have about 3 weeks left. I have heard that 9 weeks is just a rough estimate but that's based off the Internet so I can't say for sure. He does, however, answer emails incredibly fast so I don't doubt he's on top of what his wait time is.

X-Concealment-awesome holsters, they are saying 10 days from order that it is shipped. They are great holsters, and no I am not related to this company. I use their Gen2 C snap on holster for CCW and my IDPA matches.

mention glocktalk and he takes 15% off your order.

They opened a shop and acquired an FFL. He hired another guy to help make the holsters and is getting a gunsmith in pretty soon.
Like most other FFLs he is looking for the high demand items to keep in stock.

Check out Fury. He is local to me and did a good job on one recently for me. I'll try to get some pictures later when I have time.

Great news. I'll have to try to swing by next time I'm down that way and see if I can check it out.
OP--good luck on your search. I'll try to start a thread when I get my holsters in.

Check out PJ Holsters too. He advertises on another site, but his holsters are great, prices reasonable and delivery is quick.

My experience with PJ was nothing like that. Prices are cheap so I didn't get too disappointed when I got a holster that had absolutely no retention and took the better part of a month to receive. Just ended up tossing it in the useless holster pile I have.

A Holsters are made by a guy local to me who is or was a GT'er. Seems to be quality stuff. I don't use Kydex but I've heard from others that do that they liked his work.

That sucks. My experience was the complete opposite.
Did you try to contact him? He seems like a very nice, reasonable guy.

It was a mag holster so I wasn't too worried about it. Had it been something else like a holster I planned on using for EDC then I would have. It works fine with the subcompact glock mags but the compact and full size ones just slide right out. It's just made of thin kydex so I wasn't expecting miracles. For something around $20 I thought I'd give it a try.
