I was at the gun shop planning on getting a G19 when they were putting away a PPQ that another person just bought. They let me handle it and I loved it. I ended up ordering one. I loved the grip feel and the trigger is amazing. I do have one concern that the trigger pull is so light that it might not be a great carry gun. They say it's a 5.5 lb pull, feels a bit lighter to me. I guess the striker is always "cocked" unlike the Glock trigger. Is it something to be concerned about....anyone have one? Everything I read is really positive. I love the mag release to boot.

I hope you enjoy your Walther. I would of got the 19, but I am a little biased seeing as how I have a Gen. 2, Gen. 3, and Rtf 2 G19's. I have owned some Walthers and they are quality handguns without a doubt.

As far as the trigger goes, just carry it in a safe holster and apply the same common sense principles that you would with any handgun. I have 3.5 connectors in all my Glocks and they are just as safe as any handgun as long as I use my head.
