Federal Value Redbox 9mm 100round

First let me say that I have has no problems with this ammo.
My question concerns some wording on the packaging.

It says "do not use in firearms with ported of compensated barrels"
also say's "not for law enforcement use"

Is this because it is low velocity? As I said no problems with it but the wording has me wondering.

Not for LE use might refer to the ammo being FMJ rather than a hollowpoint, as for compensator use, I have no clue. It has functioned fine in my LC9, Sig 239 and G17.

I think it's because it's a plated bullet. Plated bullets can shave off the coating in the ports and the build up can cause a bullet to get stuck in the barrel.

I've shot it through a Glock 34 with KKM threaded barrel and S&J 4-port compensator. I'm not suggesting you do it, but I had no issues.

I have used some of the .45 with no issue but also no compensator.
I never talked to anyone who had to fire their gun who said "I wished I had the smaller gun and fewer rounds with me" Just because you find a hundred people who agree with you on the internet does not mean you're right.

Has this been on the box for awhile or just recently? I'm too lazy to look for any I might have laying around; I've also used it in several 9mm handguns and 45 1911s without issue, but the 'not for le' labeling seems unusual..
