Oddest thing for me getting to know my new 19, no strap is the most comfy by far, but I shoot better with the large strap. Don't know why I decided to try it out on the range, but the result was my groups tightened up significantly.

I don't have large hands but I prefer the large backstrap on
the 23 and 27. The 21 , so far I have used the medium but I may give the large a try.

I've been using the medium one. Went from no strap to that.

I spent a day at the range changing out the straps to see which one felt and functioned best. I settled on the large.

No backstrap always felt real good, like I had a massive grip on it...but that was the problem. That lead to overgripping and putting way too much trigger finger through the trigger guard. I ended up with the large backstrap and shoot well with it.

oddly, my G17 stock doesnt fit my hand correctly, but a Hogue grip sleeve to thicken it up works good as does a G20 stock grip. but a G19 fits pretty good because the length of the grip doesnt cause it to shift when i close my hands on it.

how long is a piece of string?

I did no strap for a while and thought the fit was great. Switched to a medium and kicked myself in the ass for not trying it sooner. Medium for me.

I've been carrying my 23 with none. Forgot all about them pretty much. Just went and dug them out. They don't feel that bad. I'm actually liking the feel of the large size. Definitely going to try them at range and see what my results are?
