The "zero concelment bare bones" looks like the best product. Too expensive for what it is. Should not be more than $10.00 maybe $15.00, they are asking $21.95.
$35.00 for the RDR holster! No way.
This one looks best.

Metal against sweaty skin all day? Rust stains on a nice pair of tan Dockers would not fly.

" NEVER holster your handgun into the Bare Bones holster while loaded. There is a chance you could discharge your handgun on accident We recommend you holster your handgun unloaded into the holster then mount it to your belt."
I don't carry unloaded handguns.
Mega pass.

I see your point, not sure that's just a blanket disclaimer or if there is something more to it. The way I interpreted it was load your handgun after inserting it or be careful when holstering.

Your point is valid. I am a wife-beater Tshirt with a regular T over it and jeans in the cool months and shorts in the warm months kinda guy. Can't carry at work (school system), and I don't remember ever seeing any rust on any of my firearms. They generally get an evening wipe down. Like I stated before, I have carried successfully with a clipdraw and barami in the past, so I figured this would be a slightly more secure way to carry, especially AIWB. My 1960's suede holster for the 442 is still going strong, but I was looking for a little added retention without bulk.
Went ahead and ordered the ATS from Double Tap as they are the only ones who responded when I emailed asking questions. I will post an honest review after I get it, but it will probably be later this Winter as they are my "gifts" from the kids this Christmas.

I agree... I have no interest in these holster styles that have an exposed gun pressed up against your skin all day.
I honestly don't understand the appeal at all...
