Look at the Wilderness or 5.11 Instructor belts.
They work well for me.

I really like their belts. In leather you get what you pay for. Bill

I picked one made by Bull Belts ( www.bullhidebelts.com) at a gun show a couple of years back, and I love it. It's one piece of solid leather approx 1/4" thick. It's a little stiff and even holds it's circular shape when you're not wearing it, but it looks great and has no issue supporting a firearm.

Check these guys out.

I know it says it's for firefighters, but it's just a really sturdy belt. I have one I use for CC and it works well. Very durable and only $20!
You can also ask them to add more holes in the belt for smaller adjustments. That's what I did and it makes it fit a wider array of holsters and guns. I highly recommend them.

I carry with an ordinary Walmart belt. My next belt will be from the BeltMan.

No holster will perform optimally unless worn on a proper gunbelt. Bianchi makes some good ones. For casual, normally use a wilderness 5-stitch.
