Cell phone upgrade time

Due for upgrade next week, leaning towards Galaxy s3.
Currently have a HTC thunderbolt. I'm staying with Verizon.

Any comments on Galaxy 3 or if anything new is coming soon to wait for through Verizon.

Droid RAZR maxx HD. Much better phone than s3 and 30% better battery.

Compare them at phonearena.com

Go get ya an IPhone 5 and be done with it. Battery will last you all day without having to turn off everything that makes it a smart phone. Great camera, LTE is fast as heck. IMessage is also nice if you text other IOS users.

Could wait for the new nexus depending on what is important to you. I love my GS3 though, my wife is getting the note 2 on Friday and we're swapping since I wanted the original note... She is coming from a 4s, tired of apples bs as she says.

I would wait for the new Droid DNA though if you want a bigger phone.

While Samsung has not officially announced it, you may wait and see if they are going to release the S3 Mini here as they did over seas a couple weeks back, if you are looking for a normal sized phone. Not sure if it is one of the devices that is going to fall under the sales ban since it happens to be around the same size as the iphone 5.

I really like the specs on the S3 but the dang thing is huge and not very pocket carry friendly.

I got the Razr Maxx HD and it was great, i don't think it's possible to kill the battery in one day. After using it, it's just too big(i like to use a phone with one hand while working). I returned it and got the Razr M. The screen isn't HD and battery isn't as good but it's the perfect size and it still lasts all day with my normal use.

My gs3's battery lasts all day with out turning everything off, great camera, LTE that is fast as heck, and no closed ecosystem and proprietary apple BS o and i didnt have to buy any new chargers/adapters since my previous phone had the standard micro usb same as the gs3 has.

I stay one generation behind the wave to save a little $$. I had to get a new phone 6 months ago & went with the Galaxy II, $100 or so less.

Which phone is the Bama going to be? Commonality is important if one wants to be able to text their friends for free while standing in the bread line.

5 droids later I can honestly say Ill never own another motorola again after going Samsung. The screen alone is way better then motorola. The touch screen holds up way better too. Over time all of my motorolas got very glitchy and it drive me nuts. Ive had my Samsung Charge fr over a year now which is longer then Ive ever had a phone without breaking it. Battery life sucks but they all suck. No matter what you get youll be plugging it in every chance you get. I would def go Galaxy s3.

I've had my Galaxy S3 for a few weeks now and it's the best phone I've had yet, and I've owned a few... My Wife's iPhone 5 comes tomorrow. She loves apple.

Agree with everything here.... If you can handle the size, IMHO the best phone out there right now....

Had my Galaxy S3, Verizon, for a couple of months now and like it a lot. Don't have a problem with battery life. I have big hands so size is not a problem.

Others have mentioned, but I'll echo....
Moto Maxx HD or Samsung S3, if you want a big phone. If not, Razr M (M is for "mini")

One of the big decision makers now is phone size...I have tiny tiny hands (damn you mom) and even the original Samsung Galaxy line is a little large for my hand. That being said, my wife has the Galaxy S3 and its amazing.

I'm looking to upgrade and I'm looking at the S3, the Note 2, and the Nexus 4. I just have to make sure that I can hold them before I buy.

I am also looking to get rid of my Thunderbolt.
HTC / Verizon just released the new HTC DNA.
It will have the first 1080P HD screen.
They are calling it the most advanced phone on the market.
I am going to wait till its on the shelf to compare until I purchase anything else.

If you are with Verizon, check out the Moto Razr M (M is for mini).

I love my S3, it's a great phone and the battery easily lasts all day. I wear size XL gloves and can use it one handed just fine.

You must be the skinny jeans wearing hipster type. I have absolutely no problems carrying my S3 with an otterbox in my pocket.
