I bought a Gen 4 26 Blue Label and when I got it I couldn't believe how bad the trigger was(first Gen 4 purchase). I did some research and learned about the bump they added to the Gen 4 trigger bars. I ordered a Gen. 3 trigger bar and now I have a decent trigger. Not sure if that will fix the failure to go into battery, could be a weak recoil spring. When I get a new Glock I break it in the same way my old department did, clean it and put 200 full power rounds down the tube. If the gun isn't a 100% after 200 rounds then back to Glock.

That problem happened quite a bit in Gen3 G30SF's, a few G29SF's, and even a few G21SF's.
What's the marking on the trigger bar cruciform? It may be 4256-1- (extra dash at the end). I've heard there's a new 4256-2 but I haven't seen one yet. The -1- trigger bar fixed it for some people, for some they polished the scratch on the trigger bar down until it stopped appearing and that fixed it, and for others there was no solution except to get Glock to replace the gun.
Edit: I just saw your other thread with pictures, that's the exact problem I was just describing. The slide will hang up on the trigger bar in that location causing failures to return to battery, particularly when the trigger is held back as the slide returns forward.

Mine has the trigger bar #4256-1 without the extra dash. I'll call Glock today and ask about a newer trigger bar. Thanks voyager4520

That's strange that they put a -1 trigger bar into a Gen4 G30. In Gen3 the -1- trigger bar had become standard for all G29's and G30's including the SF versions.
Edit: If getting Glock to install the -1- trigger bar is difficult, glockparts.com sells them:

I guess LoneWolf sells it as well, according to the last public Glock parts list, part # 7649 is the -1- trigger bar.

I talked to Glock today and they are sending me a new recoil spring assembly (RSA) for the failure to return to battery problem. Also, I asked him about the slide rubbing on the lower part of the trigger bar. He told me this is a normal issue for Glock 30 and there is no new trigger bar at this time. What next?

I have been looking at a G30sf but I think I'll probably hold off on that purchase.
