New to guns, just bought a glock 17!
Hey guys! New member here from SOCAL. Just purchased my first gun, a glock 17 a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier. Having a lot of fun at the range and getting acclimated to it! Look forward to become an active member on the forum!

What training is required to purchase a gun in California? I ask because owning/carrying/shooting firearms is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Our guns are lethal devices that require knowledge and experience to handle safely. We are legally accountable for every bullet fired.
