I have a 2-1/2 year old boy. I know how you feel.

If the vote meant people could drive stoned, no way in #### I'd vote for it.

We already have laws on the books for drugged driving.

The legalization of marijuana would not make those laws suddenly disappear.

Let's turn our thinking caps on, people.

Apparently the interstate commerce clause was just a suggestion.

It depends on how the laws are written (and they are state laws anyway I think). Since most other drugs are illegal anyway I would imagine at least some state laws specifically refer to "alcohol."

For legalization to get enough public support the laws will have to be pretty clear anyway.

I don't know why I am bothering explaining to you after another little comment at the end but for the last time. I would need it in writing so junkies couldn't take advantage of any loopholes to get away with smoking that trash and driving down a street filled with kids. I know we have laws already and I also know scumbag lawyers always look for something not in writing to get a scumbag off.

Yeah that's fine. As long as you don't sell it.

Same thing with wine, tons of people I know make wine. Once you sell something someone ingests, its a different set of rules. Cmon, that's common sense.

It's already illegal. Your active imagination and ignorance not withstanding.

I certainly hope you don't drink.

How exactly does me giving my neighbor a couple dollars for fruits and vegetables fall under interstate commerce, and therefore Federal regulation?

What????

Answer the question. How does giving my neighbor a few bucks for some fruits and vegetables that he grew in his backyard fall under interstate commerce, and therefore Federal regulation?
