Why don't you point them out to us? I don't see them. I see a guy collecting money for rent that he is using on himself. Don't see race involved at all. You think it would be fine with us if it was a white guy? Do you think we don't think there are just as many white guys doing it?

In this thread, up until the post that said it isn't a black thing only, there is not a single one that could be construed as implying that welfare is blacks only.

The comment before said that "Great Society" has damaged families, and black families in particular. The fact that the overwhelming majority of black children are illegitimate is generally thought to be the result of years of public assistance.

Are you now speaking for other people that posted in the thread? You polled all of them? They were 100% forthright with you?

Furthermore, When did folks here ever say "yah, I am baised, prejudicial or racist." ? Much of what is said here in GNG, and a couple of times in this thread is code-speak for what people don't want to say for fear of being called out, or banned.

You don't have to agree with me - I'm long past that point in my life (was never even there) where I looked for assent or popular acknowledgement.


To begin at the beginning, I disagree with your stated observation that what is transpiring in this video is symptomatic with why our country is "going down the drain".

Is the country going down the drain? And by that I assume you mean it is on a path of steep decline.

If you were to make a list of the top 10 reasons why you feel America is on decline, in your own words, could you please explain what you meant by posting the video?

I ask these questions because it is the more intelligent thing to do than to make assumptions on your intent for what you posted.

Oh really? Do you have any documented education and/or training in the psychology or anthropology of humans to back up your assertions?


If I was a deep thinker, or a critical viewer of current events, and I wanted to post something on a forum that underscored the decay of the USA, I would for example, pick something that more closely reflects that actual decay -

Say for example, I would not use videos of someone with apparent marginal intellect, who is at the mercy of others with supposedly higher intellect for his/her survival.

That would be akin to me showing a video of a household over-run with 124 cats, and in the video one of those cats is pissing on a sofa and there are cats everywhere, doing whatever they please.

The actions of those cats are not a SYMPTOM or CAUSATION of why that household would be going down the drain. The actions of those cats and the debilitated state of the household are more a signal of the RESULTS of bad decisions by the home owner/caretaker than they are an accurate reflection of WHY that home is going down the drain.


So: If I, in my idle time was going to post about the decay of this great country, I would instead look at the actions of policy makers, actions of people whose decisions affect wide swaths of people across broad socioeconomic swaths, to see how their actions might have, or are negatively impacting our way of life.

I may cast askew a look at recent general elections, where my candidate - a wealthy man, a man of experience in business, family and government decided to very un-naturally tan his skin (direct decision, subconscious decision, decision made by a minion...where EVERYTHING and every action is weighed for potential effect) a few shades deeper than his norm so as to ingratiate himself with a broad swath of the electorate - one that he had previously and critically alienated and (in their eyes!) denigrated in the distant and recent past.

I would stop and question the intelligence, common sense and motive(s) of the idiot that came up with that hare-brained plan, and would not but stop and wonder what impact it would have on the results of turnout for that demographic in the impending election.

Sadly, the results underscore my awful hunch, and we are now saddled with the greater of two evils as president for the next four years...where the president, unfettered by the improbability of an additional term, is free to not only promulgate a very socialist policy, but is now also free to "stack the deck" of Supreme Court judges.

Somewhere down the road we will look back the elections of 2012, and identify a few critical turning points in the Romney campaign. One of those will be the leaking of the "47%" statement he made (already referenced in this thread - what a frigging surprise). Another will be his appearing on Univision in "brown face". *


*(You should also note that despite the protestations and defense of makeup artiste L*** Rodriguez (that Romney had been in sunny states for a few days prior to that sitdown, and that his tan was natural), there is no way to explain how his ears are not even close to the color of his skin.)


So yeah, showing a video of a (black) almost illiterate dude with poor speaking skills and questionable hygiene on a SCRIPTED television show specifically created and geared towards entertainment was not, on a scale of 1>10 anywhere near the best way to illustrate why America is going down the drain. FAIL.
