So now it looks like I might be getting furlough days if DC doesn't get it's collective head out of it's ass. Now they're messing with my money and my livelihood.

Spring break already? Wow. Time flies. Just had our first significant snow yestearday /today. I'm sure everyone who isn't laid up in bed is out working crashes. Doesn't seem like spring break time at all.

Winter storm blew through on Tuesday, dumped a lot of rain overnight, then cold as heck for the last two days. Hope it warms up in time for winter.

The furlough days is supposed to be spread out over time. Your union local needs to monitor for your institution.
Flu has been in the area. So far, I have been spared of it.
Had enough snow to make me feel like I live in the more snowy areas of the country. At least 12" is out there. To top it off I go off reservation up to the north a little ways for overtime.

it's good to be sick from time to time.. SPD found time again to post
Hope my booking problem gets sorted out today, had to do a lot of calling again yesterday, but now it should be done.
The booking company would have charged me 9x€1300 without even having a flight connected to that. Big software ****up

From what I'm hearing (off today, when the warden put it out), it's supposed to be one a pay period for 14 pay periods. Still gonna suck. Guess I'm going to get on that overtime wagon myself now.
On the plus side, I sold the 600 rounds of 5.45 ammo I had sitting around without anything to shoot it in, pending funds on Saturday.

Finally my visa works again. Booked a flight from to arrive at the 31st of March and leave on the 12th April.
Sounds good just have to wait for confirmation by the booking company (different one now).
Now a cheap rental and a cheap bed. Any recommendations, vouchers, beds?

"servus" is used as an informal salute in Bavaria, Baden-Wurttemberg and Austria.

and in Vienna we usually pronounce it "servas" which can also be used if something surprising happens "na servas!". Viennese dialect - not possible to translate or logically understand.

On another note i think the Chief is trying to fatten us up since he keeps leaving snacks all over the station.

Maybe he wants to see who can get the fattest so he can promote you to management and see if you can still fit in the uniform.

Be the horse - sleep standing up. No bed required.

That depends on who you work for. But, yes, I blame the sequester on Obama and the Republicans. They are playing a political game of chicken and could care less about the "little people" caught in the cross fire. In the end it will make them both look bad.
