What will we do in Heaven?

Like the title says. I know we will be worshipping God, serving Him and ruling and reigning. I am sure we will have a daily job, but what? A new heaven and a new earth. No need for doctors, police, and just about all professions. We will need farmers I suppose. No night - will we sleep? I am not talking about the millenial reign but eternity? Any ideas or biblical research on this?

Why would you need farmers? Dead people eat? Why? If they do, are they vegetarians? Carrots go to heaven? I thought you just sit around on clouds and play harps. Are there video games in heaven? Casinos? Can we have sex?

Once (after his resurrection) when Jesus appeared to his disciples he was cooking fish over a fire. Therefore we will eat. We will not have to eat but may do so. There will be a wedding feast for the Lamb. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were vegetarians. No animals were slain until God made Adam and Eve clothing from their skins. I am sure that we will not have to weed the garden but food will need to be gathered.

No sitting around on clouds per my belief. Probably no video games or cars or guns. No sex.

There will be dogs just not your dear departed Fido. Animals have no souls. Lots of food. You can choose where you spend eternity Heaven or Hell. I will take Heaven.

They explained all of this in about season 4 or 5 of Supernatural. It's on Netflix. All your questions answered.

So no pets, video games, guns or sex, but you get to eat.

Can you eat all you want without getting fat?

Will obese people still be obese?

Will amputees have their limbs back?

Will those that had plastic surgery be back to their old, uglier body parts?

How do you keep from being bored?

Do you have to contribute in some meaningful way to pay for your food and housing?

Will you and your spouse be partners again? If so, which spouse?

I saw in a movie that, "the love inside, you take it with you", so I'll accept that as true.

I have had several wonderful dogs.

I am 61 YOA.

Somehow I don't think Supernatural writers know anything about Heaven.

Why? They know as much about it as anyone on earth.

Which is to say..they have their opinion. On a place that doesn't exist.

I have to say I like their version better than most.

neither did primitive men living in the desert 2000 years ago it's all an invention of men whom are afraid to die.

I am no expert. I was asking for others opinion. I will not be drawn into arguments about Christianity atheism and other religions.

You may have a pet but not one that has died.

Probably can eat what you want but you will not want to overeat.

People in Heaven will have a glorified body with no defects approx 33 YOA.

Ugly people will probably still be ugly but no one will care. Everyone's hearts will be changed no vanity no ill will.

I am asking what we will do to keep from being bored. We will all be given a job to do based on our likes and abilities.

Weddings usually include till death do us part. No one will be given or taken in marriage. You or your spouse can choose to be together.

These are based on my understandings. Once again I am no expert. If you want to make light of me you can, but I won't answer further.

Widows are biblically allowed to remarry after the death of a spouse, so in Heaven you could encounter multiple past spouses.

It seems to me that man is much more capable of imaging a worst case hell than a best case heaven.
How would you hate to die?

Fire would suck.

Yes, fire.

Oh, oh, drowning would also suck.

Yes, yes, let's make it a lake of fire.
Hell is pretty easy.

But when it comes to a paradise man is not so good. In fact, many can't handle retirement without going stir crazy, let alone an eternity where it seems that you won't be participating in your earthly hobbies, but perhaps you can garden and eat at a buffet.

While Adam was in Eden in his glorified state he was tasked with naming the animals ... pretty important I would say.

This ranks right up there with the spiritual gift that everyone has been given to glorify GOD while on earth.

I would gather your tasks will be given accordingly.

P.S. Also, just came to mind: In the Old "T" all of GOD's prophets were given a task (or tasks) to warn or guide Israel with a knowledge only known to GOD, so I think they were pretty busy by what I have read.

We could still do some hobbies perhaps. I blew my knee out while a brown belt, never made it to black belt. Could do that. Had muscle cars and motorcycles, that is gone. Like to shoot - no need for guns. Whatever we will be doing I am sure it will much greater then our mortal fallen minds can imagine.

It will be a rough place for people who don't like a totalitarian government telling them what to do. It's run by a dictator who controls everything. You don't get to vote on anything and your opinion isn't welcome. Of course, no one works which means they're all on welfare.

In heaven there won't be the passage of time. Time only exists in the physical world, not in the spiritual world or in heaven where God is.

You'll be with God in a moment that exists with God.
You'll have no need or desire for the things from the physical world.
