Incredible designs - the Strandbeest

Introducing the Strandeest, a kinetic sculpture that looks like a giant robotic ... thing. I can't even describe it. No electronics or high tech, just plastic tubes, wind and some plastic bits.

I'm blown away by how cool it is, although I also think we should kill it with fire just to be safe.


The photo doesn't do it justice. You have to see this thing move to appreciate how wierd it is.
