I am interested in range reports from those who have new Gen4 17's with the new ejector and the non-dipped extractor as they are coming from the factory.

The higher the round count the better.

If you just got your Gen417 from Ed's I think it should be non dipped.

okay so my new gen4 17 is non-dipped and my new gen4 26 I just got is. This will be a good test then.

I had way better ejection swapping out the 30274 for a 336 ejector and the #4 non dipped extractor. I am going to range tommorrow or this weekend to see if the erratic ejection has stopped.

I have been noticing a lot of people lately having good luck with this combo---336 and non-dipped.

First firearm I've ever owned that I ran Russian steel case ammo through, stuff works fine!

She's now up to 2200 rounds, of only the finest Tula and Brown Bear ammo! I have had zero failures of any sort, not one.

No brass to face, empties actually make a very neat pile, three feet to my right....very consistently.

I'm beginning to wonder if the newest extractors hold on to the steel case better than brass, or?? I'll go buy some S&B or Blazer Brass later this week and check. Extractor shows very little sign of wear.
