I have a G17 that has the older Gen 4 finish. I am wanting Glock to reapply the newer finish to my slide. My question is if anyone has ever had Glock do this and, do you get any choice on which finish you want? Reason being is, I'd really love to have the black Gen 3 finish on my Gen 4 17.

Glock subcontracts slide and barrel refinishing. Your best bet is to talk with warranty service department.
