I Bought Gas for $0.75/gallon Today

That's right, $0.75 per gallon....here in Bahrain! Cheapest gas in the world I believe. Cheaper than water...seriously. So who wants me to bring some back in my carry on?

What would you charge us for it? You'd need to be comped for it obviously, so about... $3.75/ gallon?

personally I think we should have government subsidized gas. A hefty tax on the poor would go a long way.

When your government is that energy independent you can do that.

75 per gallon. That's what, 1973/4 price, here???

Gotta see this. . . .
Bring me back 10,000 gallons.
I have cash. (Or, do you prefer a card?)
Oh, and deliver it to my house, about 13 miles south of Joint Base Andrews.

I remember seeing it for 26 cents in the gulf in 1990.
So even their gas prices have tripled.

Don't forget to levy a heavy usage tax on those folks who drive those itty bitty 'lectric cars.

I bought my first new car in 1976. Regular gasoline was 50 cents a gallon. I remember when I went on a test drive, the idiot salesman actually put 50 cents into the car.

It was still 50 cents a gallon in mid 1978, when I bought another car. By Christmas, 1978, the price of gasoline had doubled to $1/gallon.
