Recommend me some sights! :)

I've decided to upgrade the sights on my G19. I've done a bit of research in the subject and am still unsure of what might fit me best. I dig the trapezoidal sights that the Steyr pistol uses, and I definitely want a thinner (more precise) front sight than the factory plastics. I don't really need night sights.

What do y'all think I should check out?

As shown above, there are a lot of different sight options to choose from. Get whichever one you feel that you'll be able to get the best sight-alignment with.

For me, I like the traditional 3 dot sights so that's what I usually go with on my guns (Trijicon or Meprolights for the most part, because I also like their housing).

I do dig those Ameriglo Defoors!

I'll take a look at those other options as well, I do like the 1911 style sights

I can't make a recommendation for you, but I can tell you what works for me. I just replace the front sight on my Glocks with a Glock night sight. I don't like more than one lamp in my sight picture as it could get confusing as to which one is the front sight in a tense situation.

Lots of choices out there. Hope you find the one that is best for you.

Heinie, Warren or Ameriglos. They're the some of the best ones out there and machined from bar stock not injected molded

Thank you, and thanks everybody else for your suggestions!

I ordered a set of Defoors, do I need to have them installed by a gunsmith?

If you have problem staying focused on the front sight then this is what you need. I was skeptical about how accurate it could be (had no doubts about how quick it would be on target) but have found I'm more accurate with it than a traditional notch and post style.
