I'm new to Glocks but not new to shooting and had a few questions for you guys. I have the GlockTriggers Haley Skimmer in my G19 and was just wondering if these would really make a noticable difference?

Setting cost aside, is this Striker really a valuable upgrade? Would it "REALLY" improve accuracy?

What about the Plunger? If I installed the Plunger would my trigger feel different as the Skimmer is modded as well?

I know about titanium, super light, super strong, but the wear factor sucks. The gold in color is just a anodizing and not a hardcoat/plating and does come off. So the description is a bit mis-leading hence the questions above.

Let me know what you guys think?

In my opinion, they are sizzle and not steak. About the only way to improve pistol accuracy is with a fitted match barrel. The way to improve shooter accuracy is with practice. I've tried both titanium firing pins and plungers. It only lightened my wallet.

While hair triggers may be fine for hunting and bullseye competition, they are really no help in shooting at speed.

You can greatly improve the trigger with a slight polish and reduced power striker safety spring.

In my experience the answers to both of your questions are, 'No'! The titanium striker WILL slightly decrease your lock time; but NOT when used all by itself. As for the titanium, 'round head' safety button? There's one in my G-19, right now. Know what? It doesn't work as well as the older all-steel factory part that I only slightly modified and highly polished, myself.

You're right, again: After a few month's use the anodized gold finish does, indeed, begin to wear off. I don't like you using an H-S trigger, either; but, really, that's your business. A final suggestion - Don't use a reduced power FP spring. Like Danny said: Learn to shoot that Glock and take it from there.
