I have no sympathy for these people. They continue to elect folks that support unions, support 2A restrictions, etc. And then when tragedy strikes, they are shocked to learn the gov't is not there to care for them. People of NY and NJ...you don't like it, then make changes in your representation.

At present they must do what is needed to survive.

Although not totally pertinent to the topic, I notice how Joplin got 1/100th the media coverage.

They elect government officials who believe the gov should provide everything cradle to grave. Well when you depend on them and they don't deliver you are SOL. How's that saying go...? The government that gives you everything can take everything away. In this case they are not taking but just so inept to dealing with this type of emergency. Look at what happened at Katrina..... this storm was much smaller and the reaction is piss poor. What happens when something major happens that affects half the US ?

Hey, that looks like an assault bow. It has the big quiver and the bendy thing that goes up. Those are next on Bloomberg's ban list.

Either they'll re-elect the same tards or get fed up and move to states without all the restrictions... Then vote in new tards and ruin the states they move to. Already happening....

I hope it wakes some people up. IMO the roll of a central government (FEMA National Guard) is limited. They are not going to walk MRE's to your door.
The solution is personal responsibility and neighborhood organization. If you live on a block know the residents, lookout for each other. In rural country living it is pretty much a necessity. Urban living not so much as everything is so convenient..until everything changes short or long term
