Pelican case question

So pretty much everyone knows how cool these cases are including me, and I just had to have one for storing my small knife collection.

Thing is, when I shake the case, though the latches are secure, they do rattle some. Is tis normal? It is a smaller model 1170.

I've got several big case that I travel with.

When they're latched, the inside part is latched tightly. The bigger outside part is wiggly loose.

I don't know if the smaller ones have the same latch, though.

I don't like those latches at all. The press-and-pull latches on Hardigg (now a part of Pelican) Storm cases are much better.

Look into Otter Box. IMO better quality then Pelican.
