I don't think so. The insurance I sold classified skydiving as a hazardous activity and excluded coverage for it.
Are you a member of DAN? I used to live a few blocks from it in Durham.

Do it! and get the video! When I went there were two options for video, a fisheye lens on my tandem partners wrist, or a second jumper from afar. If you have the same option, get the one from on your tandem partner's wrist. You will get to see a lot more and HEAR your reactions. The other video you cant hear yourself, and you dont get to see as much...

Absolutely. I also carry tech/pro coverage through NAUI who uses Certain Underwriters at Lloyds.

Get the video, get the pics. You will hate yourself later if you don't.

The cost for the photo package isn't that bad, $100 for video or photos , $120 for both , $130 for it to be put on a USB drive, and $155 for 1080i blu ray
Thanks for the idea!

Be sure to yell "Geronimo" when you exit the plane.

Bring a case of beer. Stay at the DZ until after the last flight of the day.
Make lifelong friends and allow your life to change.

I've never jumped or had an interest in doing it, but I admire you for being willing to go for something most of us don't have the nerve to do.
After reading through this thread, my advice is to take the slow descent if your jump partner can maneuver a bit to give you more hang time; savor the experience to the max.
Your jump will provide rich conversation material for the rest of your days. Take some time afterwards to write down every detail of the experience you can think of. Take photos of the airplane, your jump partner, the pilot, the jump service hangar and signs. Your journal and the photos will have great personal value in years to come.

Been 3 times, most fun I ever had I think. The thing I remember is how quiet it is after your chute is open and your just drifting. I did the video package and he used the Aerosmith song "Living on the edge" timed it to when the song has the long pause is when my chute was opening.
When someone ask me if I even been up in a plane I tell em I been up 3 times but never landed in one.

If you are somebody who stutters, you might only want to count to 3 before pulling the ripcord.

Probably better than counting to 10.

Syntax....I think you just got a bad TM. Some land them all standing up; some ride the passenger in every time.

Priority of actions (in increasing urgency)
1. Pull at the correct altitude while stable
2. Pull at the correct altitude
3. Pull!

Keep your mouth closed.
My second jump was in pretty cold weather. I guess I had my mouth open most of the way down. By the time we were ready to land, I couldn't see anything. I had slober frozen all over my goggles. My tandem guy wasn't real happy either.
