What's the most usefull thing you've bought this year

For me it was a lulla AK 47 mag loader, that thing is a must have tool if you own an AK, makes loading and unloading mags a breeze

i liken it to the corridor sentries in aliens. except replacing corridor with my backyard & aliens with roving gang of neighborhood cats that utilize it as the communal litter box. i need to acquire another one to setup in a large flower pot so i can more easily deploy it around the perimeter. then all i need is a download of james horner's score and i'm in business...

To me it is this

Bought one new in 1985 except is was black

They only made red or black

Was only made in 1985 and 86

Sold it in a tight money moment back in 1989

always wanted a second one to ride

this bike is all stock and has less than 5000 miles on it and I

plan on having it until I die along with my 69 dart

For me it would be "things".

After badly mangling what was SUPPOSED to be a tough "expensive" watch about five times (a gift from my wife) I purchased a Casio Edifice for everyday wear.

- a computer with a video card that can drive four monitors (I use three monitors).

- Galaxy S2 cell phone

- Admirals Club year pass

Either my g30 or the new tires for the truck. I probably use them more than anything else I've purchased this year.

Lenovo Thinkpad.

I have a lot of down time throughout my day. Having a ultra portable computer has been really nice when carting my son around town to various events.

Instead of reading whatever magazine is on site, I now bring this thing along and either surf the web, play games, or read a Kindle book.

Now that is just sheer entertainment.

For function/boring stuff, I bought an eight dollar clutch assembly for our washing machine and fixed it myself. It had started to refuse to spin the clothes after the wash and rinse cycles. Learned how to take the thing down to the motor on Youtube.

That was by far the best eight dollars I have spent this year.

3 days at the Wequessett (sp?) Inn in Harwich. Just last weekend with my wife.

Now I know why rich people like to travel. Holy poop that was a nice place. I never wanted to leave the room! (For other reasons than that, guys!) 2 walls of glass overlooking the harbor. A room 3/4 the size of my house. What a glorious time. Just changed my entire perspective for the year. We haven't been away for 7 years. SEVEN YEARS!

6'x4' prefabricated wooden workbench. I put it in the second bedroom in our apartment. Now I have a place to do on stuff and reload.
