10-22 scope Question?
My 10-22 is need of a good scope. Thinking of going with the Nikon Pro-Staff 3x9 BDC. Any thoughts?

Your choice is a good one considering price/quality. Just for S&G take a look at some Muller scopes.

I like the Nikon Pro-Staff scopes, but my choice is the 2x-7x... I find I shoot with it set at lowest mag more often than the highest.

Thanks for the input! I feel I'm on the right track. They go on sale every now and then.
The big "C" retails them for $109. On sale or somewhere else I should do OK.

I just slapped a Mueller APT 4.5-14X40 on my new Savage bolt action .22 and it's fantastic.
I guess a lot has to do with what distance you will be shooting at, and what "type" of shooting you will be doing. That will great;ly dictate what would work better for you.
I thought this scope was overkill for me for the bench at my local range, but now I wish I had more magnification to push it out to 100 yards, I got spoiled with how clear/close the picture is at 50 with the scope.
Joe Bob outfitters always has some great deal on scopes. This is what I got, O ordered the Butler Creek caps with it, and the sun shade was included for free:

I have a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4 Power Scope on my Ruger 10/22. At 100 yards, it works great. Normally, I never take it off 3 Power.

3x9x50 Bushnell Wally Worlds sits on one of mine. Great scope, crystal clear, rock solid.
