Uhaul or Budget Truck for small moving job?
I've rented Uhaul trucks over the years, never had a problem.
I need to rent a smallish truck for a 100-mile one-way move in central Virginia soon. Both Uhaul and Budget have trucks available in that location.
Anyone have recent experience with either?
Recomendations?

I've used both for 100+ mile, one-way moves. I prefer U-Haul - more locations, and I've found their trucks to be more reliable. Last time I moved, I went with Budget and I went through three truck before I could leave town. First one, the battery died. Second one, the ramp wouldn't come down. Never again, especially for the same price.

Uhaul it is.... they've been doing truck rental to individuals probably longer than anyone in the U.S., they've had time to polish their act.

I don't know if its available where you are but I recently rented from Penske and highly recommend them. I rented a 26' truck and car hauler trailer to move my parents from Colorado to Indiana. Made the trip without zero problems.
