Why does Mr. Glock Talk never post in this sub-forum?

Just curious. Here is this huge web forum, dedicated to Glocks, and we never, ever hear from the owner, in General Glocking.

May I ask why? It seems that I read in some other sub-forum that he recently purchased a Glock.

Really - I am just curious. This just seems odd to me.

He may not post here but his presence can be felt from time to time.

Maybe he does post here, what makes you think he does not?

Why would he put Gaston Glock as a user name, maybe he post anonymously.

I can't imagine what kind of crap he he would be asked, or asked to give for free.

It would be funny if he bought a Sig or an H&K.

Did I say or imply that he was Mr. Glock (Gaston)? No. Glock Talk.

And I won't axe you why you leave an "s" off of "post".

But really, why does someone create a forum about a particular brand of firearm, then never post about said brand?

This forum has some age to it. Perhaps he grew tired of discussing Glock particulars years ago since not much has changed. A search will show you he does occasionally post in General Glocking. By thread, he shows up mostly to drop the lock when posters can't behave. But by post, he lit up the Glock 41 thread which is about a pretty new model. Go figure.

I thought he has a G41 currently after not having a Glock for a while. But I admit my memory is fuzzy at best.

Yes he bought a 41 shortly after it was introduced. He seems to really like it.

And, please forgive me for not recalling the post, or posting the link to such, a....new....superbike. Lemme guess - paid for by the spoils of owning such a misnamed website. Not to fault, as I am sure that owning such a site is a major headache, but then again, I am not here for the money or to pacify my "God complex". But then again, WTF is the point of owning such a site, if otherwise? Either it pays beyond handsomely, or it feeds a huge ego.

Uh maybe because he doesn't speak English or know how to use a computer?

I doubt he makes a huge amount of money from this place. I do think he does it mostly because of some loyalty to the site and this has provided some enjoyment to him long term.
