Gen4 G33

Is this out yet officially?

I made my own using a G26/G4 lower with a G27/33 trigger housing/extractor, G27/G3 slide and mags, and an OEM G33 barrel. It works great. I never liked the gen 3 G33 all that much when I rented one, but with the gen4 grip I like it quite a bit. I might be a convert. I also have a G31 barrel I use in my G22/G4.

I wish the G32/G4 I ordered in Feb would get here.

Pretty cool.

I'm saving for a Gen 4 G33 at the moment..

I Will be putting some rubber on the grip like the Gen 3 G33.

Add some Warren Tactical Nites, Double Tap 147gr JHPs and be set!

Note that myself and others are eager to get some DT 147 gr Bonded Defense
(Gold Dot) .357 SIG ammo from Mike, when he comes out with it.

Same for the eventual 125 gr. Barnes solid-copper TAC XP load.

It seems that the 147s are a prefect blend of power/muzzle blast out
of the G33 platform. Accuracy is also something to write home about!

Enjoy your Gen 4 G33.. and forthcoming Gen 4 G32 as well!

It's been released already, but not in large numbers...I called Glock to try to order directly to get the armorer's discount, but the lady told me that the G20, 29, 30, and 33 Gen4 models will be "officially" announced/released in Jan 2013. You can try Ed's Public Safety to see if you're in the areas where they can sell, too.

I waited two months for my G32 Gen4 to arrive at the LGS, and was able to pick it up with a GSSF discount. My G22 Gen4 is also configured like yours: with a .357SIG barrel. To be honest with you, I don't think that I'll ever shoot it with the .40S&W barrel again!

Finally, I gave up holding out to get the .357SIG dies from Dillon (because they're twice the cost of their other calibers...) and just load my own now.

I hope that your G32 arrives soon. My Ruger SR1911 which I ordered in Feb. of this year just made it home with me today!

Word is that Dealers can order them now.

I'm going to handle a Gen 4 G26 or G27 as soon as I can around here.
Plenty of Gen 3 Baby Glocks though.

I think the Gen4 G33 will be my next purchase, althought "next purchase" changes daily with me, but I really wanna shoot it before I buy. I shot the Gen3 G27 years ago and remember not liking the uncontrolability on follow up shots. I know I can overcome that with practice but it was a bit of a turn off.
I am super pleased with the 26 and it has served me well in both Gen 3 and Gen 4.
