How are Your Prescriptions Given
I get more prescriptions each month than I want. But the dr prescribes a pill or two a day or whatever. So in the case of one a day I get 30 pills. Even if the month si 31 days I get 30 pills and in February I get 38 pills. So I am prescribed 364 pills a year but unless I raise Hell I get ten less. Does anybody serioulsy doubt if itheinsurnace companies doling out the pills. How many people go without their miedication

Hell I'm not really sure, I normally get 'em in a 90day supply. Refill them as I need it, when the refills are up I just call the Drs and go through the auto refill.

You will probably find that you can refill a 30-day prescription after 26 or 27 days.

They don't want you selling your extra pills on the street corner.
Most of my prescriptions are heart meds and I get 90 days at a time, I'm actually able to stockpile extra because I get send refills early.

90 day supply mail order... don't think of it as a calendar year thing look at it as days and get it filled every 30 days. Yes this means you may yet your refill on the 29th or the 3rd who cares.

I used to get my maintenance meds via mail from Caremark. When CVS and Caremark merged I got the option to get them locally from CVS for the same cost. Since Caremark shipped "USPS cheapest way" and the USPS is somewhat casual about that whole delivery date thing I changed.
No pain meds though, just Rampril and Protonics.

I'm a Disabled Combat Vet and I get mine from the VA.
When I start getting low call the pharmacy and punch in the prescription number and it arrives 7-10 days later.
