An M&P pistol in 357 Sig?
Hey good folks,
I'm thinking of picking up an M&P pistol in 357 Sig. What's the status of the 357 Sig nowadays? Dead and buried or still kickin'? Does anybody have an M&P full size pistol in 357 Sig?
~Thanks, John

I know for a fact that the Texas Dept of Public Safety (Hiway Patrol) uses the .357 Sig round.
I imagine that there are a lot of 40 caliber pistols running around with 357 Sig barrels

As long as the law enforcement/government/military community supports a particular cartridge, that cartridge will not die out.
Currently, 10 state law enforcement agencies (DE, MT, NM, NC, OK, RI, SD, TN, TX & VA) and two Federal law enforcement agencies (Federal Air Marshal & US Secret Service) have adopted the .357SIG.

Also, NC Highway Patrol carries M&Ps (Full size, I believe) in 357SIG as of my last trip to NC. They switched from 229s to M&Ps - I'd assume due to cost.
