lokking for a good all around powder for 9mm, 40 s&w, and 45 acp

Ok guys new here so take it easy on me. I'm looking for a good all around powder for the 3 calibers of pistols I've mentioned. I currently have a glock 17, 21, & 22 and would like to reload for all three. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unique! You'll hear it a few times so I thought I'd start out....

Win231/HP38 (same powder) is a good choice as well.

What kind of shooting? What bullet types (cast, plated, FMJ)?

Unique or WSF if you're looking for something full power. Lotta guys like WST for lighter target loads.

Why has no one mentioned Unique?

Thanks for the welcome. Primarily target shooting with fmj. Now if spp's ever come back into stock maybe I'll be in business. I am currently using my dads lee pro 1000 does unique meter well in this press ? Plan on upgrading to a dillon 550 or 650 as funds allow but for now the lee will have to do. Thanks again guys. Also whats the word on rainer lead safe bullets ? Any good ? I recently bought my first pistol the glock 22 and was hooked after about 200 rounds. Then a couple weeks ago was in the lgs and decided to buy a 17. Love that gun aswell. When I was leaving I told the owner if they come across a 21 to let me know. Well you guess it earlier this week I get a call saying they just took in a very low round 21 with night sights and since I had been a good customer they'd sell it to me for $450 bucks. Just couldn't say no I guess. Now obviosly trying to feed three calibers and the availability of ammo right now reloading only seemed like a natural choice.

I'm getting really good results from Accurate #7 in 9 (124&147) & 40 (155,165&180)for competition and SD loads. WSF remains a go- to as well. WST in 40.

any med burner would work.

WSF or power pistol would be my first choices.

I use Hodgdon Universal over Unique, most of the time. They are in the same ballpark as a medium burn handgun powder. Unique can be a little gravely, uneven.

WSF will flow/meter very well through the Lee powder measure/dispenser very well as will Power Pistol. SJ 40

I used both Unique and WW231. Unique burned clean, the 231 often left unburned powder flakes.

I'm onboard with Unique, and I also like Power Pistol a lot, too.

I was down to my last 3K in SPP, so I took a chance and ordered 5K from Cabela's last week, and they're going to be delivered tomorrow. A little on the pricey side, but it should hold me until Powder Valley can get more in stock.

Welcome to the forum!

Can't go wrong with WST, WSF, HP38/W231, TiteGroup. Power Pistol and Longshot are good for more upper end loads and they all meter well. Unique works well, but at times it doesn't throw the most consistent charges, but I've shot many 9s 40s and 45s using Unique and it's a good choice.

I'm using power pistol in my 9s and 40s with good results. Haven't loaded any 45acp though
