There goes the neighborhood
So I walk outside this morning, and what do I see on my next-door neighbor's lawn?
Only election sign on our whole street.
Oh well, I'm sure I can frighten her into changing her vote within the next month. GTPI provides me with so much material...

Tell her what Obamacare is really going to cost. That ought to do the trick.
Remind her about how much of our money/debt was involved in the "Stimulus" and how many of the recipient companies went bankrupt. That will bring her around.

Interestingly enough, she's "elderly" and probably has a stake in what happens to our healthcare industry.
Myself, I'm healthy as a horse and always will be, so not so much an issue.

She seems like a very knowledgeable person....and a smart Conservative...They dont frighten easily ....and I am sure she is armed to handle most situations especially with threatening weirdos who might appear out of the wood-work.

Well, if she is a good conservative she probably already has her own health care, probably with a Dr. who isn't taking new patients due to the Obamacare limits. I hope he isn't one of those who will give up medicine because of Obamacare.

If Obamacare-related Medicare cuts go into effect, one-sixth of providers will go bankrupt and over half of doctors will stop accepting Medicare patients.

If you think you will always be healthy, you have absolutely no grasp on reality. All of us will eventually develop a fatal condition. No one lives forever. We all die at least once. It's like a rule or something. Your post shows a remarkable amount of ignorance of the human condition.
You will die. It's only a matter of time.
Healthcare is a commodity, not a right. Live with it, or not.

I guess you are right about that, she is obviously a little more "conservative" than "socialist".
Good for her. She seems like the kind of person that would look out for the best interests of the majority of Americans, instead of the leeches. I admire people that take care of themselves.

The whole part of the city I live in is just plastered with Romney signs. Cars loaded with Romney stickers.

Your jealousy may be driven by a condition from being a supporter of barry “punching bag” obama the most notable symptom is embracement over the public display of his ignorance.

Really, what part of the debate do you blame? Not Obama's part in it, I'll bet.

I do use a bit of humor when broaching that subject. After being shot at by a whole bunch of stuff you can't buy at your local gun store, I figure I'm getting my "one more day" every day.
People need to realize the truth of the situation, and live their life understanding that it doesn't last for ever, and you don't get any do-overs.

Actually it was an attempted humorous compliment to Romney. I can acknowledge and respect a good performance on his part, even though I didn't see it. (I can't make it through a 30 second political ad let alone a 90 minute marathon of politicians yakking. TV is for football and Animation Domination, period.) But from what I've heard, Obama got his ass handed to him, and I have no problem with that.
