Impressed with benchmade's customer service

I had the local dealer send my mini rukus auto into benchmade to have the blade replaced. It was originally a serrated model and the teeth were mangled and dull with no way of sharpening. I sent it back to have the blade replaced with a plain edge. Benchmade sent it back with a new blade, springs, screws, and pocket clip and cleaned it. I took it out of the box and for a second, I thought that they had just sent me a new knife. Ill be sending my McHenry&Williams with a broken tip back next week.

me too!! if you ignored all the upsell options of engraving, etc..the service was stellar!!

i sent a knife in because i felt the blade rocked back and forth the tiniest amount..and just wanted to see if they could fix it. or was it even faulty. i could tighten an allen and make it more secure, but then it wouldnt flip open that easy.

i got it back and the blade is tight!! i looked it over and it looked like they retrofitted some new brass bushing into the knife. it has never been so sturdy!! and it came back scary sharp. sharper than when i got it new.

i read the repair person's notes, and she said the blade movement was "severe". she was more picky than i was. i didnt think it was severe. cool deal..

most of my knives are BM. first one i ever sent back.

Benchmade is to knives what Leupold is to riflescopes. Just plain excellent! Both are made in the same State, too. Hmmm......

I emailed them last night inquiring about new pocket clips for my Rukus and Kulgera, along with replacement screws for the Rukus. They sent 'em out today, no charge.
