New Gen 4 G21 arrived!

Got the replacement for my old G21SF 1913-rail/ambi-mag release today, direct from Glock!

Brand new Gen 4, with factory night sights (the old gun had NO sights when I sent it back)! They also sent back my KKM barrel, and paid Fed-Ex shipping both ways.

Now, THAT'S customer service!

(not taking pictures, you know what it looks like)

Congrats, I just got a new G21 Gen 4 myself.

Great gun, I'm very pleased. FYI, though, I had some issues with ejection with PMC ammo. It felt very light. I've had no issues with my reloads (230 grain fmj loaded to ~850 fps). I'd avoid light ammo if I were you, at least at first.

It's a BIG ole boy, but they shoot so well, it's hard not to like them. I know I like my Gen4.

That's crap, I got a Gen 3 gun back from them, with fixed sights.

Congrats on the new G21! That is my favorite of all the Gen4 models I own.

I'm interested in knowing how the KKM is working with the Gen4 RSA. I currently use a KKM stock-length barrel in my G20SF, and have noted that the half-moon cutout on the barrel lug has a smaller radius for the Gen3 RSA vs. a Gen4 RSA, which has a larger radius.

Glock's OEM G31 .357SIG barrel I ordered from Glockparts.com last year works just fine in my G22 Gen4--the RSA cutout is identical. My concern is that the Gen4 RSA for the G21 will not work correctly with the KKM barrel. If it does work OK, I'd like to know that before I go and drop some $$$ on one for the G21.

Thanks again, and congrats on one of the best Gen4 models

I specifically requested a Gen 4, told 'em I wasn't interested in a Gen 3 or a replacement frame-only, did you do same?

I also mentioned that I did not have the money to send it on my dime, so they sent me a prepaid FedEx label.

No idea why the new pistol came with night sights, but I'm not going to complain!

Bean,

I'm 50% certain that I tried this KKM barrel with my last Gen 4, will update when I get a chance to shoot, again.

From my understanding it works, though.

Ok, Beanie. Just home from shooting.

Happy to report that the KKM barrel that I originally purchased for my 3rd Gen G21SF functions perfectly in the new Gen 4 G21. Very accurate, too!

PM sent to you, also.

The guy I talked to on the phone told me I couldn't do that. I even told them I would pay extra for it.

He also said he couldn't guarantee me a matching serial number.

I thought he was dick on the phone and was going to let it go, now I'm kind of pissed.

Did your ambi release fail or was this a pre-emptive strike?

Mostly pre-emptive.

It did get just a little sticky on me a time or two recently, though.

I have one that has run with out problems. I have been considering sending it back but don't want mismatched serials. Sounds like they did you right.
