Both CNN and FoxNews have a common observation - Obama looked annoyed tonight. He looked annoyed at having to be on the stage tonight.

He also got to pick the audience. And it is on fox news, if he was getting paid by MSNBC, I'll bet the results would be different.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...My wife is a die-hard conservative and has been trying to get on one of Luntz's focus groups for a year.
I certainly see a lot of conflicting opinions on his focus groups, and am routinely upset by how often the people don't agree with me.
I'll accept the integrity of his presentation until it's proven otherwise.

Usually these debates have swings. I remember last time around everyone was sure than McCain had won a debate and then in the next debate Obama won.
Obama didn't look forceful tonight. He might should work on that for his sake!

Just my hunch after several elections of experience, but I think the big effect will be in the "I was going to vote Obama, but now I'll just tell people that and stay home instead" group

No...he's a passionate (probably young...relative to me) independent. I respect that, but he's kidding himself if he thinks this election will be the time for an independent candidate. And he's kidding himself if he thinks that casting his vote for anyone other than Romney will not be a help for Obama.

Axelrod is on with Candy and is so pissed he refuses to answer her questions and just insists on giving his planned spin.... Candy keeps coming back to the debate tonight and axelrod keeps talking about how much time Romney has spent practicing for the debate.

Two things: the economy is Zero's weak spot and he came into this believing his own advisor's hype about his polling lead. He'll probably be more aggressive next time, though he'll have to cut back his partying with celebrities enough to overcome his almost complete lack of experience in receiving criticism/tough questions.

Very important point. The Obama machine of MSM and supporters will increase the attacks like you've never seen before. Romney cannot drop the ball. He has got to keep the drive alive.
