Need a suppressor recommendation for my DD M4!
I just Got a Daniel Defense M4V5 LW. I want to put a suppressor on it. I have never owned a suppressor and don't know a whole lot about them. I have 2 M4's the other being A S&W M&P M4. I would like to use it on both. My Smith has a 1/9 twist to the DD's 1/7, I don't know if that matters. I also have a bull barrel DPMS 308 that I would like to use it with if I could. I will be satisfied with just the DD M4 if thats the way it has to be. Info and options from you guys in the know please. Thanks

AAC 7.62-SDN-6 would be my suggestion. .308, .300 Blackout, 5.56 all good to go. Several different mount options - Blackout flash hider, AAC muzzle brake, or Brakeout brake/FH combo. The pure brake is the best option for durability, but it needs the most clearance behind the threads. All of the mounts offer quick on/off.
Barrel twist doesn't matter.

AAC 7.62-SDN-6 would be my suggestion too. I have an AAC M4-2000 which I am very happy with, but it limits you to .22 calibers whereas the 7.62-SDN-6 allows many more calibers as was already mentioned.

I really like the YHM 7.62 Phantom Titanium.

I understand from my local dealer that the current wait for the AAC SDN is now about nine months, not including the ATF wait time.
I hear that the YHM Phantom is just as good and they are shipping right now.

I had a chance to play around with a few different set-ups for my M4 and settled on a Surefire FA556AR suppressor, Surefire MB556AR mount/muzzle brake and Noveske switchblock adjustable gas block.

My local AAC dealer is getting them in on a semi-regular basis, and he's a VERY small dealer. If yours is waiting 9 months, then I don't know what is wrong for him.

9 months is about par. AAC deliveries for me has been drips and drabs. When I do get an SDN6 in, it's already sold.
I'm still waiting on stuff from SHOT show.
