Thanks for the info. Looks pretty tempting. Wonder what the retail price will be.

Kahr proudly makes their handguns in the U.S.A. and lists the CW380 at $419.
And that's a high MSRP.

Compared the MSRP on the Kahr website. the CM9 is $517.00, the CW9 is $485, and as you stated, the CW380 is $417.00. I've seen CW9s go for around $350.00 new here. Hopefully, the CW380 will go for under $300.00.

These have me wanting a pocket .380 again. I have enjoyed my CM9 so much.

WOW! I did not know about this; I am wanting one now. My most carried gun is my CM9 with my Glock 26 being in 2nd place but I do like small guns and will have to pick one of these up.

Most important is that it is of locked breech design and not blowback.

I wish this would come out already. I could understand the dealt if it was a ground up build, but it's the same gun, with less machining. The only real new thing they had to make was the barrel.

I agree, hurry up and release this already Kahr! Although maybe they're working out any kinks in it, which is cool by me, but they could speed it up a little.

I love my CM9, and I can't wait to see this one in stores. The Kahr website shows it now on their website with an MSRP of $419, and also states "New in 2013." We'll see if we actually see them in stores this year.

I emailed kahr and got this generic email,

"Due to the unprecedented demand on our entire line of American made C series products, the highly anticipated launch of the CW3833 and the CM4543 has been delayed until late fall.

To our valued customers and dealers, we apologize for this delay. Our staff has worked feverishly during the summer months to catch up but demand has continued unabated for our current products and especially the CW and CM series. We have taken this action to formally announce this delay in shipping until late fall. Please revisit our website in the fall for updates on shipping status".

Yeah, this one will take a little while to get to all the shops in enough quantity. Luckily, most of the average shoppers know very little about Kahr. I have this one on my list to buy, too.

Purchased a CW380 last Saturday from Ozark Armory in Springdale, AR. Price out the door for me was $341. Haven't shot it yet...hopefully tomorrow. I really like the extra "heft" the stainless upper provides. It also makes it a bit bulkier than the Ruger or Kel-Tec...but still an awesome pocket pistol.

Regards,

I am picking mine up tomorrow. I feel I got a smoking deal. A dealer that I purchase my Kahrs from called me about a week ago and sold me one for 299.00. Can't wait. It will go well with my CW40 and my CT40 when it comes in.

Had a good outing with CW380 today. Impressed with how it shot and how it handled. It didn't like the Tul Ammo. Everything else (all fmj) ran without a hiccup. Will try some hollow points next time out. Very happy with the gun so far.

I shot 135 rounds today. All ball ammo except 6 rounds of old Blazer Aluminum HPs. This little pistol ate it all. Hope to shoot another 100 rounds tomorrow.
