That's Sturmgewehre he is actually a member here on GT as well..
I really like his channel. Seems like a great guy and does really good videos I almost always enjoy watching.

I have one 1911 and I consider it my "go to", or reference gun. when and if, I feel I am having a problem with a different weapon, I shoot the 1911 some, and it shows me if I am practicing bad habits, or if I really have a problem of some kind with the other one.
I really like the feel and the comfortable way it shoots. I can't think of not having a 1911 in the arsenal. For me, it is a great shooting pistol because of the weight together with the ergonomics. It has very little and controllable, muzzle flip.
That being said, I carry a .357 Magnum, or a G27 with a 13 round mag. My 1911 is a great gun but I just don't want to beat it up with every day carry.
